Japan Trip - 2008(1)

I am little bit hesitate to write my Japan Trip in English, cuz I've never tried before and my
vacabulary is kind of limited. That's why I put it off until now.

I've written a lot about this trip in Chinese, so I guess the English version will be shorter, but will definitely share all I've experienced.

NEVER HAD I IMAGINED THAT I COULD SEE BYJ IN PERSON.

Starting April 2008, I've seen a lot of postings and articles regarding this Premium Event. I've translated some of those articles, and at that time, I think it will be an event happening in the other side of the earth and Japan is so faraway which seems impossilbe for me to attend.

YJ was in New York at that time and I don't even want to bother flying there trying to see him, cuz it takes 5 hours from SFO to JFK. but you will never know what will happen, right?? Sometimes, things happen beyond your expectation.

I knew on May 5th that there will be tickets to the event available. I got this news in the morning. I can still remember it's a Monday morning. I carpooled with my husband on the way to work and I started to tell him about my willing to go Japan.

My hubby knows that I am a fan of BYJ cuz he sees me googling all Bae sites and sometimes I translate some articles to share with other baesister and sometimes I am on the phone with other baesisters for hours.

He was quiet when I mentioned that I'd like to see BYJ in Japan. After quite a while, he told me that he needed to consider it.

In the evening, he gave me a "Yes" answer! Yeah! Whoo Hoo! We are heading to Japan after 3 weeks!!

I was so exctied cuz I've never expected it. and began to prepare for this trip right away.

May 27, Tuesday.

My hubby and I flew via Northwest (nw 27) to Japan, after 11 hours, we landed in Toyko Narita. It was already 5pm.

After exchanging the JR Rail pass with the JR tickect I bought in San Francisco, we took the Narita Express heading to our Hotel.

Sign of relief!

Finally I arrived in Tokyo!

After dinner, we were wondering aimlessly on the street trying to feel the night life in Tokyo. Unlike in the States, all the people, especially the girls dress so nicely and fashionately. Like us in the States, we usually dress casually , T-shirt and Jeans, but here all the people are in style. Almost all the girls wear High-heels and make-ups. Look at myself, jean, a black camisole, sports shoes. OMG, I felt a little bit abashed.

"look at this way!" my hubby pointed to somewhere. I followed his direction and guess what I found?? haha, I saw them, I saw JOONSANG & YOUJIN!

The poster were hanged on the door of a game store.

After coming back to the hotel, I connected to the internet and began to google all baesites as usual. Gosh, so many posts regarding the event which will be held few days later. and suddenly I found this news on bb's blog.

" Park BOF Tokyo opened today (May 28, 2008)"

Yeah! I am just in the right time. I planned to visit the Park BOF in Osaka this time but got to know that it was closed for reno. and I thought that I may not get the chance to visit it.

It is said that you can make reservation from 9:00 am to 7:00pm via fax or phone. At that time, it's already 10:00pm, so I planned to call them tomorrow morning.

Could not sleep at all, I've had plenty of sleep on the plane and also I was worried about the reservation, cuz I will only stay in Tokyo for 2 days and have to leave for Osaka on 30th. So I gonna go there tomorrow.

I know if I have something in my mind, I will never feel at ease.

I called to the front desk, telling them I need to fax sth. They told me the business center was closed and have to wait until tomorrow morning. Nop, I can not wait that long and I clung to them trying to get their help. Finally, they agreed that I can use the fax machine in front desk.

I sneaked out to the front desk and wrote an reservation letter in English. I told them it's an very important fax and let them translate my English to Japanese.

Can you imagine that it's in the midnight and a woman was in her pajamas and slippers, speaking English in the middle of the Lobby in A 4-star hotel in Tokyo.

I can see the puzzle on the face of the hotel staff. Is it so-called Important fax??? Hey, do you know what time it is now?? Do you think we don't have anything to do during the night-duty?? look at what you wear!

Anyway, I don't care what other people thinking about me. The only thing I care is that I did fax out my reservation. That's all. Finally my mind was at rest.
